Work in progress, which currently has more than 40 pieces, in which the main used material is plastic. On the one hand, a series of works that use pyrography on a polypropylene (PP) sheet, drawing by heat and melting the material itself. On the other hand, volumes of HDPE plastic (High Density Polyethylene) melted at high temperatures and forming organic forms in contrast to the very inorganic and artificial nature of the plastic.

 

Plastic, as main raw material. Material that was highly dis- ruptive and changed the way of understanding the produc- tion processes in the mid-twentieth century and nowadays questioned at an ecological level, due to its tremendous environmental impact.

Serie de obras, aun en proceso de desarrollo, y que cuenta actualmente con mas de 40 piezas, en la que el principal material empleado es el plástico. Por una parte, una serie de obras que emplean el pirograbado sobre plancha de polipropileno (PP), realizándose dibujo mediante el calor y el derretimiento del propio material. Por otra parte, volúmenes de plástico HDPE (Polietileno de alta densidad) derretido a altas temperaturas y formando formas orgáni- cas en contraste con la propia naturaleza inorgánica y artificial del plástico.

El plástico, como principal materia prima. Material que en su día fue altamente disruptivo y que cambió la manera de entender los procesos productivos a mediados del siglo XX, y que a día de hoy es cuestionado a nivel ecológico por su tremendo impacto medioambiental.
